The Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) caters to the intake of GCE ‘O’ Level holders into full-time 2-year Higher Nitec courses. JAE is held in January each year, after the release of the GCE ‘O’ Level results. Successful applicants will commence their training in April.

Admission to the courses is based on merit and choice.

A. MOE JAE (Main Phase)

Application under MOE JAE (main phase) is now closed.

B. Combined Polytechnic-ITE JAE Appeal

Submission of appeal under Combined Polytechnic-ITE JAE Appeal phase is now closed. 

C. Final JAE ITE Appeal

Appeal for admission or transfer under Final JAE ITE Appeal phase may be submitted here between Fri 21 Feb 2025 (9am) and Thu 10 Apr 2025 (1st sub-phase), and between Mon 14 Apr 2025 and Fri 25 Apr 2025 (2nd sub-phase).

    Final JAE ITE JAE - Appeal Result & Acceptance of Offer

    Applicants can check appeal result between Thu 20 Mar 2025 and Mon 14 Apr 2025 (for appeals submitted under 1st sub-phase), and between Mon 14 Apr 2025 and Wed 30 Apr 2025 (for appeals submitted under 2nd sub-phase).

4. Reporting to College

  • Successful Singapore Citizen (SC) and Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) applicants who have accepted their course offer must report to their posted ITE College by the stipulated date to register for their course
  • If you are an International Applicant (i.e. not SC or SPR) and had sat for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level examination as candidate of a Government, Government-Aided or Independent school in Singapore) who has accepted the course offer, you should report to College only after receiving your Student's Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to study in ITE, or if you have a valid Immigration Pass (e.g. Dependant's Pass / Long-Term Visit Pass). Instructions on applying for your Student's Pass are provided in your Enrolment Letter (emailed to you upon release of application outcome).
