What is Traineeship?

Traineeship which spans from 1 to 2 years, is an apprenticeship programme designed for fresh secondary school leavers to upskill as they pursue a Nitec qualification. ITE trainees* are employees sponsored by the Approved Training Centre (ATC) who learn both on-the-job (OJT) and off-the-job (theory and practical lessons) at the sponsoring company.

Who are the trainees?

N-Level or O-Level graduates who are looking to gain work experience at an organisation accredited by ITE aa an Approved Training Centre (ATC). Trainees must be successfully employed full-time by the sponsoring company to be enrolled into the Traineeship programme.

* Trainees are full-time employees who will receive salaries, CPF contributions and employment in accordance with MOM guidelines.
