Learners will acquire essential knowledge and hands-on skills to maintain Internal Combustion Engine, Hybrid, and Electric cars. Learners will understand key vehicle systems, recognize maintenance differences across various vehicle types, and apply routine care practices to enhance safety and efficiency. Learners will also gain practical experience in performing basic vehicle checks, tyre and battery assessments while learning to handle common issues safely and identify situations when professional services are needed.

- Recognize the differences between Petrol, Hybrid, and Electric Vehicles in terms of maintenance needs, energy sources, and system operations.
- Understand the importance of a routine maintenance schedule for various vehicle types to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency.
- Perform essential car care routines, including checking fluid levels, inspecting tyres, and assessing battery health for Petrol, Hybrid, and Electric Vehicles.
- Safely respond to common vehicle issues, including jump-starting a petrol vehicle, understanding warning indicators, and knowing when professional service is required.
