The course equips students with the skills and knowledge to provide support for a range of human resource and financial services functions in an organisation.

The course duration is 2 to 4 years.

Entry Requirements

3 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades:

(i) Grade 1-7 in English Language;

(ii) Grade 1-8 in Mathematics (Elementary/Additional) or Principles of Accounts;

(iii) Grade 1-7 in one of the other subject

 

Applicants must have sat for Mathematics (Elementary/Additional).

 

OR

 

Nitec in Services qualifications; or

Nitec qualifications (Business/Services Skills); or

Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and one year relevant work experience; or

Completed four Foundation modules.

 

Applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements will need to complete Foundation modules before taking Core/Specialisation modules.

 

Entry requirements for Foundation modules:

2 GCE 'O' Level Grades (Grade 1-8) in any two subjects; or

3 GCE 'N' Level Passes (Grade A-D or Grade 1-5) in English Language and two other subjects; or

Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading, Writing and Numeracy.

Higher Nitec in Services – Business Administration (Financial Services) graduates are employed as Customer Service Officers who provide operational and finance administration support in an organisation. Their role includes performing customer service using digital channels, providing after-sales care and advice, creating awareness of product and service, providing efficient and quality customer service, performing digital marketing activity such as updating websites and social media accounts and tracking status of customer applications for products and services.
