This course equips students with skills and knowledge to assist AI / Machine Learning Engineer in identifying and translating business needs into AI requirements.  He/She also assists in data preparation and analysis, as well as development of AI solutions to fulfil the organisation’s business requirements.  In addition, he/she has to carry out the tasks by following the required AI ethics. 

The course duration is 1.5 years to 3 years.

Entry Requirements

3 GCE 'O' Level Grades:

Higher Nitec in Technology – AI Applications graduates are employed by government departments, statutory boards, and private companies across diverse fields. They identify and translate business needs into AI requirements. They perform data preparation and analysis and the development of AI solutions to enhance efficiency in business operations. The AI solutions and technologies are focused on data, natural language processing, and computer vision. The students also have to carry out the tasks by following the required AI ethics. 

There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to continue upgrading their technical skills and knowledge by taking up higher-level courses.
