This diploma course prepares you for a professional career in the Sea Transport sector.

You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to perform and supervise maintenance and repair of various port container handling automated systems and equipment, such as network systems, and automated cranes and vehicles, in accordance with planned schedule, quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures and Workplace Safety & Health guidelines.

 

This diploma course is currently only open to current employees sponsored by PSA Corporation Ltd.

 

You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to perform and supervise maintenance and repair of various port container handling automated systems and equipment, such as network systems, and automated cranes and vehicles, in accordance with planned schedule, quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) guidelines.

 

Prerequisite:

Trainees are expected to have keen interest in application of automation, digitization and artificial intelligence. In addition, this course is currently only open to PSA in-service staff.

 

Currently only open to in-service employees of PSA Corporation Limited:

  • Holding the positions of Technical Specialist or Senior Technical Specialist
  • Have a minimum of one year’s work experience
Free from colour appreciation deficiency

 

Job Role:

The role includes performing and supervising maintenance and repair of various port container handling automated systems and equipment, such as network system, automated crane and vehicle. Other duties includes quality management, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines.

An Assistant Service Engineer performs and supervises maintenance and repair of various port container handling automation systems and equipment such as network system, automated crane and vehicle, in accordance with planned schedule, quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines.
