The Joint Intake Exercise 'N' (JIE 'N') caters to the intake of GCE ‘N’ Level holders into full-time 3-year Higher Nitec and 2-year Nitec courses. GCE ‘O’ Level holders may also apply. JIE 'N' is held in December each year, after the release of the GCE ‘N’ Level results. Successful applicants will commence their training in January.

Admission to the courses is based on merit and choice.

3. Interviews

  • If you have indicated the following courses among your course choices and are shortlisted, you will be notified via email / SMS about the details of the interview taking place on Mon 23 Dec 2024 and Thu 26 Dec 2024:
  1. 3-year Higher Nitec in Nursing
  2. 2-year Nitec in Aerospace Avionics
  3. 2-year Nitec in Aerospace Technology

Main Application Phase

Shortlisting for Interview(only for courses with interview requirement)

Interviews will be conducted on Mon 23 Dec 2024 or Thu 26 Dec 2024.

Applicants who have applied for courses with interview requirement can log in on Fri 20 Dec 2024 (2pm) to check the interview details (if shortlisted).

4. Course Acceptance

Application result will be released on Mon 30 Dec 2024 (9am).

Successful applicants are required to login and accept the course offer online between Mon 30 Dec 2024 (9am) to Fri 3 Jan 2025.

 

5. Reporting to College

  • Successful applicants who have accepted their course offer have to report to their posted ITE College by the stipulated dates to register for their course
  • If you are an International Applicant (i.e. not SC or SPR) and had sat for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE level examination as candidate of a Government, Government-Aided or Independent school in Singapore) who has accepted the course offer, you should report to College only after receiving your Student Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to study in ITE, or if you have a valid Immigration Pass (e.g. Dependent’s Pass / Long-Term Visit Pass). Instructions on applying for your Student Pass are provided in your Enrolment Letter (emailed to you upon release of application outcome).
