The Nitec Progression to Higher Nitec (NCHN) caters to the intake of Nitec graduates and Nitec (Sector) certificate holders who wish to progress to full-time Higher Nitec courses. NCHN is held in January each year. Successful applicants will commence their training in April.

Admission to the courses is based on merit and choice.

A. Main Phase

Nitec graduates and Nitec (Sector) certificate holders with GPA meeting the criteria for progression may submit application here from Fri 10 Jan 2025 (4pm) to Wed 15 Jan 2025 (4pm).

B. Final Appeal

The following categories of applicants may submit appeal here between Fri 14 Mar 2025 and Thu 10 Apr 2025 (1st sub-phase), and between Mon 14 Apr 2025 and Fri 25 Apr 2025 (2nd sub-phase):

• Applicants with GPA not meeting criteria for progression
• Unsuccessful main phase applicants
• Main phase applicants seeking transfer to another course/College
• Late applicants

 

3. Interview (Main Phase)

  • The courses with interview requirement are:
  1. Higher Nitec in Early Childhood Education
  2. Higher Nitec in Nursing

• Interview for shortlisted applicants will take place on Tue 4 Mar 2025, Wed 5 Mar 2025, or Thu 6 Mar 2025
• If you have applied for any of the above courses, please login to https://istudent.ite.edu.sg on Mon 3 Mar 2025 (from 9am) to check the interview details (if you are shortlisted), via 'Self-Service' > 'Student Admission' > 'View Application Results’
• If you have been shortlisted for interview, you will also be notified via email / SMS

Main Phase - Application Result & Acceptance of Offer

Application result will be released on Fri 14 Mar 2025 (9am).


Applicants posted to a course are required to complete course acceptance between Fri 14 Mar 2025 and Wed 19 Mar 2025, via login to https://istudent.ite.edu.sg > 'Self-Service' > 'Student Admission' > 'View Application Results’

5. Reporting to College

  • Successful Singapore Citizen (SC) and Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) applicants who have accepted their course offer must report to their posted ITE College by the stipulated date to register for their course
  • If you are an International Applicant (i.e. not SC or SPR) who has accepted the course offer, you should report to College only after receiving your Student's Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to study in ITE, or if you have a valid Immigration Pass (e.g. Dependant’s Pass / Long-Term Visit Pass). Instructions on applying for your Student's Pass are provided in your Enrolment Letter (emailed to you upon release of application outcome).
