What you'll learn
- Recovery of refrigerant
- Testing & Commissioning of Residential Air-Conditioning System
- Installation/maintenance of Split-type Air-Conditioners focusing on (a) Leak Testing Methods, (b) Evacuation and Charging methods and (c) Refrigerant Handling Process (charging, and pump down process)
Entry Requirements
This is an Intermediate level course.
Participants must have the ability to read and write in English, and successfully completed
1) Air-Conditioning – R32 Safety Awareness Training; or
2) CoC in Installation & Commissioning Air-conditioning Systems (R32 Split Unit); or
3) Supervise Workplace Safety and Health Practices (Conducted by Daikin only)
Participants are to submit proof of entry-requirement at point of registration.
Note: Recipients will have their Name (and company, if company sponsored) published in NEA's website under the List of R32 installer. Recipients who do not wish to have them published, must write to ITE before the start of the course.
