This course equips students with skills and knowledge to perform goods movement, transportation and distribution, prepare trade, freight and cargo documentation and provide quality service to meet customers’ needs and satisfaction.
The course duration is 1.5 to 3 years.

What you'll learn

  • Perform inbound and outbound warehouse tasks and warehouse inventory management
  • Perform import and export documentation administration
  • Provide support for supply chain activities and arrange goods transport
  • Perform circular logistics
  • Handle material handle equipment
  • Provide customer service customer solutions and urban logistics services
  • Perform cold chain logistics
  • Coordinate dangerous goods (DG) transportation
  • Coordinate ship agency services

Entry Requirements

GCE 'O' level grades in English Language, Mathematics/Principles of Accounts and 1 other subject:

  • Grade 1-7 in English Language
  • Grade 1-8 in Mathematics (Elementary/Additional) or Principles of Accounts*
  • Grade 1-7 in one other subject

     

    OR

     

  • Relevant Nitec qualifications (Business / Services); or
  • Relevant Nitec in Services qualifications (Business / Services); or
  • Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and one year relevant work experience; or

     

    Completed four Foundation modules

      

    Applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements will need to complete Foundation modules before taking Core/Specialisation modules.

     

    Entry requirements for Foundation modules:

  • Completed GCE ‘O’ Levels
  • Completed GCE ‘N’ Levels; or
  • Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy
  • Relevant ITE Skills Certificate (ISC)
  • Nitec qualification (non-related)
  • Nitec in Services qualifications (non-related)
