The curriculum integrates traditional retail practices with the latest e-commerce strategies and explores cutting-edge retail technologies, to build a career in a constantly evolving industry where seamless customer experiences are pivotal.

 

Prerequisite:

Outgoing and pro-active individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skill. Willing to work on a flexible work-week including weekends, evenings and public holidays. Possess excellent problem solving and multitasking skills in effectively handling multiple and concurrent tasks.

Training pattern:

Day Release - Trainees attend lessons at ITE for two half days per a week and spend the remainder of the work-week at the workplace for OJT.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:

  1. ITE graduates from any one of the following courses + pass company screening & interview;
    • Nitec with GPA ≥ 2
      • All Courses from School of Business & Services
      • Hospitality Operations
    • Higher Nitec:
      • All Courses from School of Business & Services
      • Hospitality Operations
      • Visual Merchandising

    OR

  2. In-service employees+ with:
    • Equivalent qualifications such as Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above
    • Relevant work experience
    • Strong employer endorsement

+In-service employee may be invited for an admission interview
