Are you working in the vector control industry?  This course is designed for those who are planning to apply to National Environment Agency (NEA) for the Vector Control Technician license.  You will be trained to carry out pest inspection work, prepare work site for pest management, use pesticides and pest management equipment, prepare pesticides and supervise pest control operations performed by workers hired by the company.

Course Information

Upon successful completion of 2 practical and 1 theory assessments and satisfying the attendance criteria of 75%, participants will be issued the Joint ITE-NEA Certificate in Pest Management.

For Day Classes

Lessons conducted on every weekday

Time: 9.00 am - 4.00 pm

 

For Evening Classes

Lessons conducted on every Wednesday & Thursday

Time: 6.45 pm - 9.45 pm

This is a blended learning course which includes 72 hours of classroom training, and 8 hours of Self-Directed Learning (SDL).

The detailed lesson plan will be given by the trainer on the first day of class together with the course notes.

Please note that there will be 3 lessons that will be conducted in the morning.
Lab Practical: 9.00 am – 1.00 pm
Outfield Lesson: 9.00 am – 3.00 pm
Theory Exam: 8.45 am – 10.30 am

You need to pass 1 Practical Assignment, 1 Phase Test and 1 Theory Exam,  and attain at least 75% attendance to be issued the certificate
