Build an Automated Guided Vehicle

Fancy building your own automated guided vehicle (AGV)? You can, in this course by applying the acquired knowledge of mechanical engineering design, production, quality assurance, materials control, and automated machines and equipment. Besides building an AGV, you will write programs to control the vehicle and navigate it on a designated track based on your understanding of the working principles of touch and line tracking sensors.

At the end of the module, students will be able to:

  • Build an automated guided vehicle.
  • Write programmes using Microsoft Makecode to control the vehicle.
  • Compile and download the programmes to the controller.
