The Thunder and Lightning of a Video Production

Get a first-hand experience of lighting and sound applications used in the performing arts industry. In this module, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of a live entertainment setup i.e., lighting, sound system and camera, as well as postproduction using video editing software.

At the end of the module, students will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of a live entertainment setup i.e. lighting, sound as well as camera.
  • Arouse student’s interest in the areas of creating their own video and appreciate their own creativity.

  • To kindle the interest of students in pursuing further training in courses offered by Electrical Engineering Departments.
